Penne Pasta Marinara

  • 1 (8 oz.) package truRoots® Ancient Grains Organic Penne
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes with Italian herbs
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil, plus sprigs for garnish
  • Dried grated Parmesan cheese


  1. COOK pasta in large pot of salted boiling water, just until al dente, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain.
  2. HEAT tomatoes in medium saucepan over medium-low heat until bubbling. Remove from heat. Stir in vinegar and basil.
  3. PLACE pasta on serving platter. Top with tomato mixture, cheese and basil sprigs for garnish.
