Kickin' Sausage and Kale Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound uncooked hot Italian chicken sausage
  • 2 (32. oz.) containers chicken broth (8 cups)
  • 1 (16 oz.) container fresh thick and chunky salsa
  • 1 (16 oz.) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup truRoots┬« Organic Red Lentil Sedanini Pasta
  • 3 cups coarsely chopped baby kale, tough stems removed

Instructions

  1. CRUMBLE sausage into 5 quart pan. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until browned. Add chicken broth, salsa and chickpeas. Bring to a boil. Add pasta; simmer until pasta is tender. Remove from heat.
  2. STIR in kale.
